Thank you to everyone who has supported us through our troubles. Because of your prayers, Bob is still with us, and after 64 days in the hospital is now continuing his recovery at home. All this began when we wanted Bob to have surgery on his back. In order to clear him for the back work Bob needed to have a cardiologist took a look at his heart. Cardiologists found some blockages which they agreed needed repairing before Bob could get his back work done.


On Thursday, December 10, 2015, Bob checked into the hospital for a procedure which we thought would be fairly routine. We thought Bob would be checked out of the hospital the following Tuesday. Due to complications we initially feared for his life. After almost 2 weeks unconscious, Bob began the arduous process of recovering from complications of pneumonia, water in and on the lungs and heart, infections, and a blood clot in his lungs.


Adding to all this, the day after Bob was told he would need to have open heart surgery, we also found out Bob has cancer. Bob cannot begin the needed 10 weeks of prostate cancer treatments until he becomes able to walk at home without assistance so he can get his radiation treatments.


All of this has taken an emotional and financial toll on us. We are grateful to those who have given financially, have helped us around the house or provided prayer and moral support. Due to Bob’s current inability to work and the increasing number of medical bills which are rolling in, your help is greatly appreciated. We are trusting God. Thank you.
