Five years ago, my life changed forever when I was diagnosed with heart failure. What started as small symptoms turned into a battle I never expected to fight, and since then I’ve been pushing through every challenge with everything I have. Living with heart failure hasn’t been easy, but I’ve kept going, day by day, determined to stay strong for myself and for the people I love.

Recently, my journey took another unexpected turn. Just a few months ago, I suffered a brain bleed—something that shook my world all over again. The recovery has been tough, and it has left me unable to work or provide for myself the way I used to. It’s been one of the hardest moments of my life, having to face both heart failure and a brain injury at the same time.

I now live with an LVAD, a left ventricular assist device that keeps my heart functioning and literally keeps me alive. It’s a blessing, but also a constant reminder of everything I’ve been through and everything I’m still fighting for.

I’m sharing my story because I need help during this time. I’ve always tried to be strong and independent, but right now I can’t do this alone. Whether it’s support, understanding, or simply spreading the word, anything means a lot.
