Hi, my name is Joseph and I am trying to help raise money for my cousin James “Tap” Tapper aka “Tapper” and his family.

 

Towards the end of September 2021 Tapper’s father, Jerry Tapper, fainted suddenly. When Jerry was revived his life wouldn’t be the same. Despite having a relatively clean bill of health prior to fainting, Jerry began having issues with his breathing. The newly developed complications would force him to be admitted to Mercy Medical Centers ICU. Jerry would undergo 2 major surgeries over a 6 day span. Despite the Hospitals best efforts, Jerry’s health would continue to deteriorate.

 

On Sunday November 21st 2021 Jerry would lose his hard fought battle against a condition Doctors are still trying to diagnose. That day our family was forced to abruptly say good-bye to a brother, a husband, a Father, an Uncle, a co-worker, and a friend.

 

Just a few days prior to Jerrys passing, his wife, my aunt Harriet Tapper was admitted to Baystate Medical Center. Due to Harriet’s Hospitalization she wasn’t able to see Jerry just one last time before he passed. Harriet is still in the hospital battling several serious

medical issues.

 

Tapper along with his family weren’t prepared for the loss of their Father and their Mother being hospitalized . While mourning the loss of His father and remaining at his Mothers bedside daily, Tapper is also forced to think about the coming expenses. As one could imagine the Financial burden being placed on Tapper is devastating and that is why I’m asking for your help.

 

Jerry “Budman” Tapper was a great man that cared for everyone and anyone including myself: When I was a young child, my mom, my siblings and I became homeless and forced to living in a vehicle to survive. Despite having a small apartment, My uncle Jerry took us in and allowed my family to live there at no cost for several years. During and after our stay with Jerry he never asked for anything in return for his generous hospitality. Until the day he passed, Jerry continuously chose to support and provide for others.

 

I am asking you if you can help in anyway it would be greatly appreciated. His family is in a very tough spot and Tapper is left with all the financial burden while mourning the death of his dad and still spending everyday at the hospital with his mother. He lives and works in Boston and now needs to take time away from work to be here for his mothers care.
