We are reaching out to you today to ask for your support for Monique, a 20-year-old student and hardworking individual who recently faced a traumatic incident while working at a famous park in San Diego.

On April 3rd, Monique encountered a group of seven individuals acting suspiciously, with a history of theft in the area. Despite her attempts to seek help from the security guard, who unfortunately did not intervene, these individuals proceeded to steal from her place of work. When she was brutally assaulted with punches and resulting in a fractured jaw, a broken nose, severe facial lacerations, and multiple broken teeth. The physical injuries are significant, but the emotional scars run deep. Monique also requires surgery to restore her breathing, which was affected during the assault.

Monique, a usually cheerful and hardworking young woman, is now struggling with fear and depression. She needs our help, and together, we can make a difference. It’s just her and her mom here in the US, with no other family to help.
