My name is Kerri and I writing this on behalf of my cousin Heather Jarvela- Johnson. A few years ago Heather was diagnosed with cancer. After completing treatment she was told she was in remission. Fast forward a few years and Heather finds out she has cancer again.

This time it’s a “chain” that goes from her chest area to her abdomen. After more than two years of treatment she has found out that she now has brain cancer. The treatment Heather receives makes her consistently ill, and has caused a major artery to rupture, with continuous hospital visits. The constant medical changes are overwhelming and very expensive, to say the least.

Heather will need to undergo radiation to her brain, specifically near her optic nerve, to help shrink the tumor. The new expenses being incurred are a starting to pile up. She needs help to afford her medical bills and continue her treatment.

We need your prayers for Heather and her family (her husband Jim, her mother Barbara, and her brother Chris). Currently, Jim is with Heather for all of her appointments and rotating with other family to care for Heather’s mom.

We are hoping to raise money to help pay for Heather’s medical bills, and to help ease any financial difficulty she may be facing so she can focus on her treatment.
