Hi, my name is Tommy. I lost my job almost exactly a year ago. I was on unemployment and doing DoorDash until unemployment funds ran out in February.

I’ve continued doing DoorDash, trying to make ends meet, but it’s really not working. I recently finished a certification course for electrician apprenticeship in December 2024 and received my electrician’s apprentice card in April of this year.

I’ve been applying to electrical companies, trying to find an apprenticeship, but nothing has materialized yet.

I’m having a rough time making enough money to pay the bills, credit cards, mortgage, buying groceries, etc., and I’d really appreciate any help.
