A couple of months ago, I started to have pain on my left side. After a few weeks, I went to the doctor and found out I had a mass in my spleen. I had my spleen removed and found out on June 11 that I have lymphoma and would need to have chemotherapy, every 3 weeks for the next 4-5 months.

This surgery and the diagnosis has set me back on my immediate plans. I was about to launch into several new job opportunities that I was very excited about. I still hope to work in these jobs between my chemotherapy. Matt is working full time for a wonderful company.

We are so grateful for all the support we are receiving from family and friends. We are getting help with driving the kids, meals, and some light household chores. This allows Matt to work as continuously as possible.

We have started this Go Fund Me page to help us off-set some of the financial obligations that are ahead of us. These donations will help with expenses needed to run our household, take care of our children, and cover some of my medical expenses.

Whatever is contributed will be greatly appreciated. We are so incredibly lucky to have so many wonderful, loving friends and family in our lives.
