Cloudy’s sweet and spicy companion, Baxter — A.K.A Little Potato — experienced a frightening health emergency yesterday. He suffered an episode of rigidity and convulsions, which the vet explained may have been syncope (a collapse related to the heart). After initial testing, Baxter was found to have an enlarged heart, a heart murmur, and possible heart disease. He needs an echocardiogram this coming week to learn more about his condition and how best to treat him.

Baxter’s medical bills are already estimated at a minimum of $1,500, and to help cover ongoing care and ease the financial stress, we are asking for $1,700 in mutual aid. Cloudy lives on a fixed income, so any contribution will be a relief for both her and Baxter during this scary time.
