My name is Marceline Adams-Taggart, and my dog's name is Princess. On September 30, 2025 Princess was scheduled for her annual dental check up. This process is a full day. Check in time was at 8:30 AM, and pick up at-4:30 PM. Anesthesia is administered for this procedure. It was at the pick up time that the assistant to the veterinarian gave me a report that the dental hygiene went well with no concerns. However, the doctor does have a concern regarding the bump that is located in the breast area. The assistant to the doctor proceeded to tell me the doctor says it's a tumor, not just a bump, it's cancer. The doctor's assistant further stated; according to the doctor it's aggressive. Therefore, the doctor suggested that Princess be spayed. Princess never had a litter. , $400.00 to spayed. Up front she added $800.00 for the cancer surgery. The recommendation for the surgery is immediately! In fact a tentative date of Monday, October 6, 2025. I do not have the funds for this procedure. I was able to obtain information regarding; Resources for assistance with vet care. I am reaching out for help to save my sweet dog's life. This was my husbands dog.
she was not wanted by the owner. 2021 both my husband and I had COVID. We had no symptoms. But I decided to check on myself. I was admitted to ICU! My husband didn't go. On the 15th of October the nurse walked into my ICU room and said, "your husband is DEAD!! I'm not ready to lose Princess. She brings joy to me, my neighbors , their children, my friends, and family. She's family, and always being inquired about in phone conversations and other correspondence. Please help me. I just don't have
the funds. If I had funds this letter would not be necessary to submit. The question is being asked if the need is long term. I cannot respond. Her vet's assistant said that the knot, (resembling a bug bite, or insect bite) is a tumor and it's cancer.
