A New Start

We are raising money to help our family transition to a new home. These last two years have been filled with many plusses: marriage, two babies, joined a church family, and several others. But there have also been minuses.
Our biggest blow came when my husband was incarcerated in March of 2014. With his incarceration, it has been a struggle--both financially and emotionally. Going from two incomes and having help, to a suddenly single parent has been difficult, to say the least. I barely see my stepchildren and they barely get to see their sister or brother. On top of that, we missed our first year anniversary and he missed the second half of our daughter's first year of life, along with the entire pregnancy and delivery of our son. We've had our lights cut off, had to take public transportation, had our home broken into, attempted theft of my car, and some other minor things. My husband's family has left us to or own devices and not helped throughout this whole ordeal.
Throughout it all, God has kept us. We were never homeless, without food, or unable to make ends meet. He sent help in the form of his angels, here on earth, who have been too numerous to name. And I am eternally grateful. But now I believe that He wants me to move my family from our current location. If my husband does get approved for home monitoring, we need to have a lease in order for him to come and live with us. I am setting up this go fund me account to raise money for the double security deposit and moving expenses. we want to move in early January.I have found a place that I think would really accomodate my family and give us a fresh start. I'd like to raise my children in a location where we won't have to worry about spiteful in laws, vandalism, dirty alleys, or anything like that. A place where they can play outside. Most improtantly it would provide the means for my family to be reunited and start the healing and recovery process. This means a lot to us. Thank you! :-)
