Support Michael's Heart Surgery Recovery

My name is Dena and I am raising money along with my family for my brother Michael Polisena. Michael, if you are blessed to know him, you know how wonderful he is.

He is a dedicated teacher and an amazing dog dad to Stella, his golden retriever. He is the best brother, son, and friend. Right now, he needs us to show up for him like he would for everyone else.

After months of testing for chest pains and exhaustion, Michael went to the emergency room this past weekend.

This ER transferred him to another. They put him through many tests and it was found he needs open-heart surgery. This surgery for a healthy person would be hard, but Michael needing a kidney transplant due to kidney failure and him being diabetic will need extensive time off for recovering.

This will be a huge financial burden not only for time off work but for his medical bills as well. This surgery will require plenty of time staying at the hospital and recovering at home, so we would like to be able to fund enough so he can recover without any worry.
