Help Get Obadiah To Nationals!

Just over a year ago we had an angsty teen in our midst. Obadiah found an outlet in bodyweight workout, pull-ups, push-ups, etc, But it was evident that he had a need for more involved challenges. So just by chance, right about this time last year, Amy (Obadiah's mama) convinced a reluctant young man to join us for a homeschool event being hosted at Bowling Green's Vertical Excape. ( https://www.facebook.com/verticalexcapeBG/ ) The idea of rock climbing peaked Obadiah's interest (pun intended). After that initial introduction of indoor/outdoor climbing it's no stretch to say he was instantly hooked. He has seen many transitions this last year, as many people reading this know, Obadiah jumped into climbing with both feet and hands for that matter. Upon entering the local Bowling Green climbing scene and entering in small local competitions, he found a super friendly and supportive climbing community. From there he branched out and entered into his first USA climbing competitions, he surprised himself and his family by placing fourth in his first sanctioned competition ever. Obadiah's competitive spirit was triggered and he has climbed and competed with passion ever since.This brings us to today, where Obadiah has climbed all the way to a spot in the USA Climbing Youth Nationals where he will face the top teen competitors from across the United States. It goes without saying Obadiah's hard work and determination have been the major underpinning of him making it this far, but it also bears saying that he hasn't done this alone, in addition to all the encouragement, moral support, helpful hints and tips along the way from his local climbing community ( https://m.facebook.com/groups/1266773133466646 ) Obadiah's immediate family (especially his Mama) have been there to support him in every way we can. So that goes to say that we would like to be there at Nationals to continue supporting him as a family. So please consider sponsoring Obadiah on his journey to Nationals!
