Our beautiful and amazing friend Theresa Poumakis was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2018. For those of you that know Theresa, you know that she is passionate about life- her kids, the beach, great food, a glass of wine- and is not one to give up without a fight. She is also humble, independent, and not often willing to ask others for help.
Over the past eight months, Theresa has received a tremendous amount of support from friends and family. However, being a single Mom of two and battling cancer, she is also in need of financial support. Theresa has undergone four months of chemotherapy, a double bilateral mastectomy and has about two months of radiation left. Aside from the surgery and chemo, other expenses include scans, medications, reconstruction, hormone therapy/inhibitors, naturopathy/acupuncture, and lost wages.
It is difficult to know what amount to set for this campaign as it is still undetermined what the total costs will be. Please help in any way you can. She will need a team of support to beat this thing, so I ask you to join "Theresa's Team" and help spread the word so she can beat this horrible disease.
