Mawmaw’s Memorial

As many of you know, our Mawmaw, the thread that held our family together, passed away this morning. While we knew this would happen eventually, it was sudden and our whole family is devastated. Mawmaw was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s about 12 years ago & we had to witness what this awful disease is capable of doing to someone as smart, loving, and giving as she was. It slowly took everything away from her & eventually she needed 24 hour care. Unfortunately, there isn’t any money from life insurance, as it all had to go to her nursing home care. It comforts us all to know that she is her old self again, and is getting to see all of her brothers, sisters, & even her only son in Heaven. I do know how much it would bother her for us to be scrambling to put together the memorial she deserves. So, here we are, asking for any help at all. Even if we don’t reach our goal, we are very grateful for every dollar donated. We are trying to make sure the memorial is taken care of and, if possible, get some very close but out of state family members here to be with us during one of the hardest things we’ve ever dealt with. Again, every dollar, every share, every prayer, & positive vibe sent our way is more appreciated than you could know. Thank you all in advance.
