Help Marley’s Mutts Save Harry
Donation protected
Meet Harry. Harry is a 7 month old puppy who has had a rough start to life. At just four months old, Harry was dropped off at the groomer in China where he lived, and upon being returned to his owners Harry was found paralyzed. He was immediately brought to the vet to be euthanized.Luckily for us, the vet didn’t have the heart to put Harry down, but instead contacted our rescue partners in China. The second they saw Harry, they knew he needed to be given a second chance at life. In China, dogs like Harry don’t stand a chance of being adopted. They are often sold to become food or sent to testing facilities where they become lab animals and are subjected to years of torture. This would have been the case for Harry had he not come to the US.Without hesitation, Zach and his team at Marley’s Mutts agreed to take Harry and get him the care he needed. Unfortunately his injuries were much worse than we all expected. As it turns out, Harry obtained a serious injury to his C1 and C2 vertebrae. If he moves the wrong way he can die. Harry is currently in a cast and safe for now but he cannot stay like this forever and will need a MRI and most likely spinal surgery if he has any chance at surviving. The cost of the MRI is $3,000 and the surgery will be $10-$12,000 as well. This is a large sum for one rescue to bare all on their own so we are asking for your help! No donation is too small, even donating $1 brings us one step closer to saving Harry’s life. All donations will go directly to Marley’s Mutts for Harry’s MRI and surgery.
