First, I want to thank everyone who has reached out to us. We are incredibly humbled and blessed by all of the love and support we’ve received from so many friends and family. As many of you know, we had a serious house fire early Monday morning and have unfortunately lost our belongings and place to live. We had some minimum insurance coverage that we will hopefully get but it won’t cover the majority of our items or the cost of salvaging any remaining belongings, additional costs of rehoming, putting our lives back together, and paying for Rizzo’s (our cat) emergency room bill/in-patient costs since she was strapped in the house the entire time. We were overwhelmed by how many people donated to our Facebook fundraiser for the same cause... until Facebook for some reason canceled the fundraiser and said there was no way to open it back up or receive the donations. From what we are hearing most people have gotten their refunds today. Hopefully gofundme is a better server to have this drive and won’t randomly disappear for no reason.

At this point we mostly just feel fortunate that we woke up and are all going to be ok but we truly truly cannot express our appreciation to anyone that is willing to donate something to the cause. Also, Lauren no longer has healthcare so we’ll be using these funds for any therapy may be needed after such a traumatizing event. Thank you thank you thank you, just having everyone’s support has meant the world to us and been the most important thing in getting us back on our feet and figuring this all out. But if anyone wants to contribute anything, we really appreciate it.
