Help a trans sex worker keep her home!

Hi,
My name is Alex and I am raising funds for the other Alex. She's a migrant, Brazilian transfemme sex worker in her 40's who has been in the sex work industry for over 2 decades now and is one of my favourite people. She shows up relentlessly for the hooker community having co-created the ever useful 'Trans Sex Worker Group Chat' an invaluable safety tool and also co-founded THORN (Trans Hookers Resistance Network), which is a mutual-aid organisation that runs monthly socials and generally builds community, takes on case work and participates in activism. She has also been involved in SWARM, Sex Workers Breakfast and Radio AvA, which I say to illustrate the fullness in which she shows up for her community and other people.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of London housing/renting Alex has found herself in a position where she needs help. Due to her banking history and current financial situation (fluctuating income) she only managed to secure a tenancy agreement on a 6 monthly payment arrangement which she initially accepted since a friend offered to lend her that amount on that occasion, but keeping up with paying that loan back and saving up over £6,000 for the next payment is proving unsustainable and stress inducing to the point of debilitating anxiety.
Alex is available for work almost every day and her health is suffering as a result. She is dealing with back pain that has forced her to go to A&E, a neck injury, symptoms of chronic fatigue, various mental health issues and undiagnosed neurodivergence.
She has been able to save some money, but it's not enough to make the 6 months payment and even if she could she would be stuck in this unrelenting cycle of overworking in order to keep up with these huge payments.
Alex is also scheduled to get bottom surgery in early 2026 after being on the NHS waiting list for nearly 10 years, which will mean it will be necessary for her to take time off work to recover, so being able to comfortably make this payment will also ensure she is able to take sufficient rest time.
So, from the bottom of my hooker heart I ask you to show up for Alex. Don't just theoretically support trans women, prop up and celebrate them for their accomplishments while they are alive. London is becoming increasingly hostile for anyone other than the upper classes to live in, so it's important we rally as a community to support each other and make it through.
