Transplant recovery

Hello Family and friends.

As many of you know Max was diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis in 2022 and unfortunately his liver was failing. Late last evening we received the call we have been waiting for. They found a donor and Max is currently in surgery.

This is a very difficult ask as we are NOT used to asking for help. We are really going to need some financial assistance to get through the transplant and recovery. On top of us recently losing our home to the recent flooding, we are now going to have a loss of income as Max will not be able to work for 2-3 months.

All funds will go directly to medical-related expenses not covered by insurance. These include post-transplant medications, hospital transportation due to the frequency of visits after surgery, gas, rehabilitation as well as other incidentals. In addition, funds will allow family to be accessible as he recovers close to the amazing physicians who have made this possible.

It takes a village, and that is why we are asking for your help! We really will need all the help we can get and we are so very thankful for anything you are able and willing to give.
