Peace For Papa Memorial Fund

My name is Maureen, and this handsome man is my father, Diomedes. The original Tito Boy. Lover of Rock & Roll, basketball, and Ray Ban Aviators. It is no secret that my father and I have a complicated past. It was not until January of this year that we were able to reconnect, when he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. We were given a timeline, but my family and I were determined to make the most of the time with our Papa. And in these last six months, I was given the opportunity to know him as a person, to say sorry and forgive the past, and express love. This time has been the most important and precious to my entire family, has brought us closer together, and now, on behalf of my dad, we humbly ask for your help. We are hoping to raise $11,000 for his final expenses and life celebration. In a matter of weeks, his fight against cancer has been on a steady decline. We were not prepared to say goodbye so soon, but it is our hope that our friends and family can help us lay him to rest and help him find peace. ... I have missed this man for 20 years of my life. I can't remember the last time I spent a Father's Day or the last birthday I celebrated with him... and it is my hope that if we can't do that this year, that I can do our last one big.
