Olivia’s Mayo Clinic Travel Expenses
Donation protected
Anyone who knows me, know that I have a hard time asking for help with ANYTHING. I’m fine - FINE! Well, this time I’m crying “uncle.” I’m asking for help with transportation costs for my daughter Olivia’s travel expenses to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota in August. As most of you know, Olivia has had a lifetime of bizarre health issues, but things got really bad last fall, and whatever is going on now is debilitating. She has been in and out of hospitals for the last 10 months and has not gotten any definitive diagnosis. Olivia spends most days in bed and is unable to play with her children or even sit up on the sofa for more than a couple of hours. Luckily, she has found a doctor in Orlando who believes and understands her symptoms as those of some type of autonomic nervous system disorder. He recommended that she travel to a large diagnostic center for an evaluation. Thankfully the Mayo Clinic has accepted her for evaluation, and we are praying that they can give her a treatment plan to get back to living. I’m hoping to be able to pay for airfare with sky miles, but the hotel accommodations are going to be a struggle. They have indicated that we will be there for about 10 days. If you feel it in your heart to donate, please know that we will be eternally grateful. If you are not able to at this time, please continue to pray for Olivia’s physicians and complete healing. Thank you!!
