My brother Dennis Lacy is well known for his extreme love for Aviation and has worked hard for years to acquire a skill set and knowledge of planes to better his future in this field.
Recently my brother fell violently ill and has been in the hospital for 17 days. From many issues with treatment and miscalculating of medications he almost lost his life. While he sat in the hospital without insurance, recently suffering a job loss, bank accounts frozen, still looking at many weeks of recovery on bed rest when he leaves the hospital,  any
hope passing through his fingers, he spoke to me from somewhere I have never heard my brother speak. As we spoke of his pain, feelings of despair and just praying he would survive, he let me know that his family was on the verge of losing everything,  monies he had been able to save to get his Commercial Pilots license had previously been depleted due to the job loss and now with  his illness, his hopes and dreams gone, losing his hangar, their home and their vehicles, he cried to me. My brother seldom cries and seldom opens up to people.
You see my brother has been there for me my entire life. He has helped me in every way possible, bailed me out of impossible situations of plenty and I feel that I have never been truly able to pay him back.
I believe that God gives us all a purpose and a time to step up and help others and now is my time. From the Lacy family, we thank everyone for all of the help, prayers and thoughts.
