We are RedRacing, Stony Brook University’s newly founded Formula SAE team. Our mission is to design, build, and compete with a high-performance, formula-style race car while giving students hands-on experience in engineering, teamwork, and leadership.

Formula SAE is an international competition where university teams from around the world design and race cars that they build from the ground up. For many of us, this is the first chance to take classroom knowledge and apply it to a real engineering challenge. Along the way, we gain practical skills, professional connections, and memories that will last a lifetime.

As a new team, our biggest challenge is securing resources. Funding is essential for parts, tools, safety equipment, competition registration, and workspace needs. With your support, we can bring this project to life and proudly represent Stony Brook University on the international stage.
