Unexpected Loss of my Son
Donation protected

Veteran Daniel Dean Yager 10/05/1967 - 12/2015.
Honorably discharged from the Army National Guard. Later he became a government contractor and volunteered for several tours in Affganistan & Irag, he taught & worked closely with military personnel as the Vehicle Maintenance Engineer. The unexpected loss of my son has left his family heart broken at a most crucial time of year when funds are terribly low. We are reaching out to family, friends, loved ones and anyone who is able to give a little to help with funeral costs. My son lost his battle with depression which fell upon him like a storm. He was laid off of his last job a year ago and then recently his unemployment stopped. After many attempts to find employment which failed to yield success he fell into a deep depression. Dec 3, 2015 he told all his friends goodbye and that it was great getting to know them. He then went home parked his car in the garage, left it running and we received the news on Dec 23, 2015 that Dan had taken his pain to the depth of death. His Light was Bright - Dan had a away about him that made everyone like and love him the minute he walked into a room. He had the greatest smile and most loving & caring heart. He was so full of life and never had a problem making a friend. Dan always tried his best. He was a true animal & nature lover who would take in a stray at any given moment including snakes (can't say they were stray - I think he went looking for them) Dan was a great kid and very mischievious. He loved playing tricks on his sisters and also his mom. Dan had strong artistic and creative abilities, and was curious and interested about everyone and everything in life. At one time he was so FULL of Life - what happened that made his light burn out????? so soon in this life - Wish there were answers but "Why" never has the answers. There is a pain in my heart to deep to explain or to even understand - All I see is this little blonde hair child running on tippy toes with a huge smile on his face and twinkling eyes so full of life. Dan was residing in San Antonio, TX and has a son in WA, two sisters one in TX the other in WA, Two Aunts, one in NC and the other in WA and an Uncle in AZ and I live in FL. We have to travel to San Antonio to retreive his remains and then find a way to have a memorial and locate a final resting place for him as soon as possible. Currently his remains are at the Medical Examiners office in San Antonio and they need to have his remains returned to his family As Soon As Possible. We realize the hardship others have at this time of year and My family would be forever in your debt for any and all contributions you can possibly share. All funds will be used for his funeral costs, travel expenses and final funeral expenses and/or additional un-forseen expenses.
It is with heartfelt appreciation for any amount you may spare. You have the family permission should you want to share this post with others
