Thank you for supporting me in my Trans Journey! For many years I’ve experienced gender dysphoria and have had the desire to align my physical features with my identified gender. I first started testosterone in February 2021 and have been living as male since then, as well. I have been using a chest binder for several years which causes great discomfort and can be dangerous for my health if used over a long period of time, possibly resulting in chronic compression and bruising, skin ulceration and further damage to subcutaneous tissues and ribs. It has been recommended by my doctor that I receive a bilateral mastectomy which is a medically necessary procedure for gender dysphoria to further aid in aligning my physical body with my identified male gender and to also relieve physical suffering and health consequences from chronic chest binding.
The surgery comes at a high cost, but is well worth the time fundraising as this surgery will provide me a lifetime of happiness and relief. Thank you again for your continued support and acceptance.
