Stan Robinson Medical Expenses

For nearly fifty years, Stan Robinson has brought joy to the lives of countless people in this area through his music. From fronting the rock institution, Tapestry, to keeping live music going in Jacksonville for years with Stan & Jeff, and many memorable bands in between (God’s Of Love, Geezer, and many more), his music has been the soundtrack of our lives here in Central Illinois. Stan was also the gateway for many of us discovering new music via Front Row Records and his current store, Revolution Records. Aside from half a century of great music, he is always a friend to anyone he meets and has helped almost every musician in this area begin their careers. Recently, Stan suffered a stroke and was admitted to the hospital. Earlier this year he was also admitted with 98% blockage in his heart. While expected to make a full recovery and anxious to get back to making music, the medical bills can become an impossible hurdle to overcome. Being a musician and record store owner offers a lot of opportunities to enrich the lives of those around you, but doesn’t come with the best insurance plans.
