I’m reaching out to ask for help for someone very special to my family. Ary Atencio is my children’s daycare teacher and babysitter — but she’s so much more than that to us. She loves and cares for every child as if they were her own, and my kids adore her.

Recently, Ary was in a horrible car accident that could have taken her life. She’s a single mother to two amazing boys who are her entire world, and thankfully, she’s still here for them — but she now faces a long recovery and mounting expenses.

She’s already been out of work since the accident and doesn’t have paid time off. Ary will need more time off to heal from upcoming procedures, including dental implants and surgery for her nose. Bills and living expenses don’t stop, and as a single mom, Ary is shouldering this alone.

I’ve set up this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial burden so Ary can focus on healing and caring for her boys without worrying how to keep a roof over their heads.
