Hi Everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of a dear friend, Sajeev, who is going through an incredibly difficult time. After living and working in Australia for the past 20 years in the hospitality industry, Sajeev has recently received a heartbreaking diagnosis: cancer affecting his stomach, liver, and pancreas.

While Sajeev has called Australia home for over two decades, visa complications have prevented him from returning to India for the past 10 years. Throughout this time, he has been engaged in a long and complex legal battle to resolve his immigration status. As a result, he does not have access to Medicare benefits and has had to shoulder the full burden of his medical needs on his own.

Despite personal struggles, Sajeev remained focused on securing a better future for his daughter. Thanks to his sacrifices, she is now in her final year of medical college and about to begin her house surgency. Though he has never been present for her academic milestones, he has been her unwavering support from afar.

Now, as Sajeev faces the scary stage of his illness, his only wish is to return to India and fight alongside his wife and daughter, with best treatment possible.

But this wish comes with financial hurdles. His life savings have been dedicated to his daughter’s education and his family’s needs.

We are hoping to raise funds to help Sajeev:

• Pay for immediate medical needs

• Access basic medical care and comfort

• Support his family through this incredibly difficult time for treatment and recovery
