My mother kicked Acute Myeloid Leukemia’s butt 4 years ago. Unfortunately the hideous disease has returned as violent as ever. Kerri Ihm is a hard working, loving, single mother of 3 and in 2014 she was diagnosed with AML and the local doctors gave her mere weeks, maybe a month to live. She started her chemo in June and through the grace of God she had a perfect bone marrow match with her brother Nicholas. That December she had a successful bone marrow transplant 2 days before Christmas and started he road to recovery! Flash forward 4 years later and after running a high fever she was admitted to Naples Community Hospital again to run tests. That was 6 days ago. So far all of the test have come back negative which may seem like a good thing but right now that just means we don’t know what is going on. Today (6/5/18) she had a Lumbar Puncture to see if the cancer has made its way into her spinal fluid. I will try to keep everyone updated on here as well as facebook.I am starting this GoFundMe to try and raise money to help pay for all the ridiculously expensive hospital bills and treatment.I know not everyone has money to just give away but even just 50¢ or $1 will help!
