Times like these are something we never expect. 

My name is David Ventura. I am creating this account to help with funeral expenses for my dad.  

Mario Rigoberto Ventura was born January 31, 1977 came to Los Angeles CA , at the age of 14 . He got baptized March 9, 1997 . First of all I want to thank God for giving him 44 years of life . My dad suffered from high blood pressure which lead him to a stroke last year 2020 . Thank God he survived and went into rehab, there he learned how to walk and talk again . He loved to be in church and worship God , he would sing and preach . October 1, 2021 he had another stroke , I got the worst call in the middle of the night they had to transfer him to another hospital and put him on life support, they gave me little hope that he was going to get better. But I put my trust in the Lord . & my family, friends , pastors started to pray . With a broken heart I never thought I would be the saying this , God took him to a better place where he is no longer suffering from pain . They pronounced him brain dead October 5, 2021. And was taken off life support October 11, 2021.

Tiempos como estos son algo que nunca esperamos. 

Mi nombre es David Ventura. Estoy creando esta cuenta para ayudar con los gastos del funeral de mi papá.

Mario Rigoberto Ventura nació el 31 de enero de 1977 llegó a Los Ángeles CA, a la edad de 14 años. Se bautizó el 9 de marzo de 1997. Primero que nada quiero agradecer a Dios por haberle prestado 44 años de vida. Mi papá sufría de presión arterial alta que lo llevó a un derrame cerebral el año pasado 2020. Gracias a Dios sobrevivió y fue a rehabilitación, allí aprendió a caminar y hablar nuevamente. Le encantaba estar en la iglesia y adorar a Dios, cantaba y predicaba. El 1 de octubre de 2021 tuvo otro derrame cerebral, recibí la peor llamada en medio de la noche, tuvieron que trasladarlo a otro hospital y ponerlo en soporte vital, me dieron pocas esperanzas de que se recuperara. Pero confié en el Señor. Y mi familia, amigos, pastores empezaron a orar. Con el corazón roto, nunca pensé que diría esto, Dios lo llevó a un lugar mejor donde ya no sufre de dolor. Lo declararon con muerte cerebral el 5 de octubre de 2021. Y le retiraron el soporte vital el 11 de octubre de 2021.
