Help Marshall Takunda Bayela Fight Stage 4 Kidney Cancer
We, Nothabo Nkomo-Schröder (Marshall’s aunt) and Phathisani Khumalo (his uncle), have come together to raise funds for Marshall Bayela with the approval of his mother, Bridget Mutsimba. She has also authorised the use of the information provided in this campaign.
Marshall, a 26-year-old young man, has been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. His condition is critical—the tumor on his right kidney weighs over 1kg and has started spreading to his liver.
Urgent Medical Needs & Costs
Before doctors can proceed with life-saving surgery, Marshall must undergo three months of uninterrupted oral chemotherapy to shrink the tumor. His treatment costs are as follows:
• Oral chemotherapy: $980 per month for 3 months ($2,940 total)
• Scans: $250 per month
• Medical check-ups & blood tests: $140 per month
• Life-saving surgery to remove the tumor: Estimated at $11,000
• Future liver treatment: Costs unknown until after kidney surgery
Our Goal: $15,000
We are urgently seeking $15,000 to cover the oral chemotherapy, medical check-ups, scans, and the necessary surgery to remove the tumor. Doctors believe that if we act quickly, Marshall’s overall treatment may be less complicated.
Marshall is currently receiving treatment at the Cancer Centre in Newlands, Harare, Zimbabwe.
How You Can Help
We, on behalf of Marshall’s family, are reaching out for emergency support to help cover these essential expenses. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference—giving Marshall a fighting chance and easing the pain and suffering he endures every day.
His mother and family have already given everything they have toward his previous treatments, and now we turn to the kindness of others for help.
Your support can give Marshall hope for the future, a chance at recovery, and an improved quality of life.
Thank you in advance for standing with Marshall in his fight against cancer.
Please donate and share. Our hearts rejoices for every Euro/Dollar donated for it brings us closer to the goal.
