BRCS Trap Team National Shoot
It is with great pleasure that I tell you Beaver River Central School Trap Team has qualified to send both a team and several individual shooters to Nationals in Mason, Michigan this upcoming July! However, with this great opportunity comes the need to raise funds. We estimate it will cost over $8,000 for our shooters to participate in this exciting event. Beaver River Trap Team is part of the NYS High School Clay Target League. We joined the league in 2016, with 20 student shooters and six other schools. We took first place at the NYS Championships in both 2016 & 2017. Each year the number of student participants continues to increase. This year, the USA High School Clay Target League, which is the nation’s largest high school clay target shooting sport program, is hosting the inaugural USAHSCTL National Championship! The event will take place July 12th thru 15th and will feature a trap shooting competition for the highest-qualifying student athletes and teams throughout all affiliated state high school clay target leagues in the nation. Over 2,000 student athletes will represent their schools in the unique event. We sincerely appreciate everything our friends, families and sponsors have already done to support us this season. As the head coach of the Beaver River Central School Trap Team I’d like to express what an honor it is to work with these young men and women. I, along with the other coaches, would love for them to be able to experience this unique opportunity.
