Gods Newest Angel Anahi Hope Rodela
Donación protegida
On behalf of Joshua and Erica Rodela, we’re asking for any donations if God lays it on your heart to do so as their daughter Anahi Hope Rodela is passing away. No one expects to bury their child, especially a 15 month old child. No one saw this coming so none of could’ve prepared for this tragedy that has struck the Rodela/Diaz family and we’re appreciative of anything that could help as well as the love, support and prayers. Wednesday, May 30th at 11pm they brought their daughter in to get some fluids as she was vomiting and having fever. Shortly after, she began to have a seizure which she’s struggled with due to something genetic that they still haven’t identified every time she had gotten any illness/infection. Anahi never responded well to any of the seizure medications and she continued to seize for just over 3 hours. They put her on a ventilator to help with her breathing. On Thursday, she just looked like it may take some time for her to wake up because seizures take a lot out of you. Her sister took a couple days after hers so we thought it was normal. We had Hope. However her sisters seizures were never like this and she would always respond to medication. Anahi’s EEG looked normal too, just that her brain was sleeping. Unfortunately, her mom said this seizure was different and By Friday morning between 12am and 2am, twenty four hours after the seizing initiated, Anahi had stopped initiating breaths and responding to their neurological exams. By Friday afternoon her EEG showed no brain activity and at 9pm we were informed the MRI later showed she had a significant amount of swelling and her brain had herniated down into her brain stem which then killed that part of the brain which was the part that tells your body to breathe. This was on top of the remaining damage that swelling and seizures had caused. They told us she wouldn’t survive. This time the seizure had down too much damage with the lack of oxygen for our precious little baby. Today, June 3rd we will do the last test to confirm there’s no more brain activity and they will turn off the ventilator to let Anahi Hope Rodela go be with Jesus. This is by far the hardest thing as parents Joshua and Erica will endure. But Anahi is no longer in pain, she will no longer suffer from seizures and she is dancing and clapping with Jesus. On behalf of the Rodela/Diaz family thank you.
