Hello friends and family,

This may be the most challenging post I’ve ever done, for so many reasons. My puppy, Chloe was diagnosed a few weeks ago with a nasal carcinoma (tumor in her nose). It is inoperable. The tumor is currently blocking most of her airway in her right side, now entering the left and slightly pushing up against her brain. My heart is crushed. However, there is hope. A lot of it.

I met with an unbelievable oncologist to learn there is a new radiation treatment that is incredibly precise, and only necessary for 3 treatments being significantly easier on a 13-year old’s body. With deep consideration of weighing impact and quality of life, it seems Chloe can continue to have at minimum a year, to potentially longer than two years with this treatment, almost bringing her into remission. I will be healing her little vessel with herbs and some magic as well to ensure she is as close to homeostasis as possible.

This healing journey is going to cost me around $15-$20k. As much as you try and prepare for those rainy days, it feels like journeys like this blindside you. Trying to collect these resources in such a short time is more difficult than I hoped. And I have to move fast on this before the tumor starts really impacting her brain.

It is not lost on me for a moment how many people are in need right now, how many people lost so many things, how generous people have been lending whenever and to whomever they can. But this little girl is like my heartbeat. Finding the humility to ask this, she is worth it.

Whatever anyone can offer, I would be eternally grateful. And if not a monetary exchange, sending Chloe love and light, and envisioning her with that big smile running to get her cookies – that too would be so deeply appreciated.
