My daughter’s young family lost 90% of their belongings when their home was hit by flooding due to Hurricane Helene. No insurance covers the inside of their house or relocation expenses. The water rose to over 4 feet, ruining toys, furniture, appliances, electronics, and books. Thankfully, they are alive, but they need help trying to rebuild their lives.
