Hi everyone. My name is Chloe (but I go by Sam). As of lately, I have been struggling really bad with some severe health issues and have had a hard time holding jobs that require a lot of heavy labor. I have over 3 specialists that I see for heart issues, lupus, RA (rheumatoid arthritis), endometriosis, and PCOS. I have been fighting since January to get surgeries scheduled and finally have some lined up that I need to get taken care of not only to improve my quality of life, but get me back to my full working capability. I love working in the outdoors and work hard when I do have a job. Two months ago, I lost my job and have applied to over 100 jobs since then. I have walked in, called, filled out paper applications, beautified my resume, and have even gone as far as to tell places I’m interviewing at that I’m in desperate need of a job. Out of the 100+ jobs I have applied to, I have only interviewed with 3.

I drive for Lyft and Uber over 12 hours a day and am having a hard time even doing that as I am prescribed narcotic pain medications to maintain my pain until I have these surgeries. I do not want to have to rely on these pain meds as they can be highly addicting, nor do I want to be in pain like this that requires these types of medications. I am still desperately searching for a job and have even messaged support emails of companies trying to get my application and resume more noticed.

I have no family to reach out to for help.

I have reached out to welfare and don’t qualify for cash assistance and have been fighting with the disability office for the past 3 months. I have nowhere else to go.

I have no one else to reach out to and ask for help. I am over $20,000 in debt…

I have been praying for a miracle and am still praying that one will come my way. The job search continues, as does driving countless hours for Lyft and Uber.

Anything helps, big or small. I have proof if needed, can send proof that help is going to bills where it’s needed.
