Help Darrell With Medical Bills

Hello everyone. I'm Kevin McClung, the oldest son of Darrell McClung. A little over a year ago, dad fell in the house and re-broke his replaced hip. This fall not only took him down but also triggered his kidneys to begin failing. The last few months have been rough. Several trips to the ER, a helicopter flight to KC and weekly drainings of his belly due to renal failure. Dad is pretty much confined to bed, although he wants to get back outside as he is very much a nature person. A sample of his photography is shown below in a quick collage of his work. Dad's bills are piling up, and he only has medicare. His pension isn't much, and they've cut it along with his healthcare. He worked his entire life at GE Aircraft Engines, based at Strother Field in Winfield, KS. He doesn't want to go to a nursing home but wants to heal up and stay home. Medicare covers Hospice visits for about 1 hour per day but not in-home care. We are also attempting to get him on home meals, but they won't deliver to his address, so we continue to work on that situation.

Your generosity will go a long way towards keeping his house and keeping his medical bills under control. Doctors have now prescribed around $2k per month in medication, which is more than his retirement provides for.
