Support Trevor Dickens in Overcoming Hardships

Hello to you all. My name is Trevor Dickens and I am 32 years old, living in Frisco, Texas. I have struggled with many difficulties in my life such as cancer, back surgeries, addiction. However, I am getting back to a better place mentally and finally, I am able to see some light at the end of the tunnel. It’s extremely challenging to go through a dark time when you don’t have a strong mental outlook on life.

This is the most vulnerable time in my life where I’m facing eviction, lights turned off, everything will be turned off and I can’t even afford to pay for food and eat barely. My food stamps benefits stopped and I’m at my lowest of lows. Once you’re down, it’s hard for people to normalize that it is so hard to remain strong, positive, even alive. At this point, I’m just lucky to be able to wake up and say it’s a new day. I have applied literally EVERYWHERE. I’ve had so many interviews but no response or it follows up with the word unfortunately.

Life is not easy at all and I take full responsibility and accountability of where I am at in my life. My parents are even struggling too and it has a huge weight on my shoulders to continue to rely on them. I don’t know what else to do. I’m way past the point of exhaustion and to top it off, I’ve held this secret in for a while. Some people know of my situation but those are close friends who are living their lives. I totally get everybody is going through something and perhaps struggling behind closed doors but I have limited all my options.

I need the help to get back on my feet and to be able find my confidence and myself again. Making a GoFundMe page is completely embarrassing for me because I do not like asking people for help but I need the help to get better.
