Dear friends, family and the local community,

It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the passing of Ron Lee. For those of you that knew him, you knew that he was a fighter. Ron fought until the very end, so much so, that none of us thought it was the end just yet.

As many of you know, Ron was diagnosed with cancer the beginning of 2020. Ron has meant so much to so many and carried the role of husband, father, grandfather, friend, mentor and protector proudly and with fervor. For the last two years he aggressively fought and never stopped showing up for those in his life. Ron felt you could never use excuses and showed us daily what it means to rise. Ron never allowed cancer to take his life, rather only shortened it.

Ron had a code he lived by, and everyone knew them. Live your best life every day, be kind to those less fortunate, don’t think that you are too good for anyone, pass on your knowledge and wisdom, give back, be kind, be great, and don’t leave with regrets.

We all know that death is inevitable, and no one is too good to beat it. However, if anyone deserved to it would have been Ron. He was selfless, tenacious, and exemplified what it means to have character.

As you can imagine, the last two years have created a mountain of medical expenses combined with funeral costs that the family was not prepared to carry financially. Ron worked until the end because he was determined to ensure his family was taken care of. I am reaching out in all hopes to show support to this family in their time of need as a tribute to our friend, Ron. We can carry on as Ron would have and give back, help others, and be great.
