Hi, my name is Christian, and I am fundraising for my mom.

 

My mom is my best friend, teacher, support, and everything.

At the end of 2020 my mom received the news that she had cancer and needed surgery as soon as possible. She applied through the state of Tennessee for anyway to help cover the cost and she was accepted through a hospital who helped her cover all of the costs through financial aid. Her surgery was major, and what was supposed to be a 2 hour surgery turned into a 6 hour surgery as they kept finding more and more. The road to recovery was hard, and my mom was unable to leave bed for several months, and in constant pain to the point where she would stay awake at night crying. 2021 was really hard for me, seeing my mom go through the worst pain of her life.

No matter how hard it was for me though, it was even harder for her who was really going through all the pain and more. We went to Dr appointments every single week on Wednesdays where I had to literally carry my mom to the car, and when we got to the Dr. Soon we got a wheelchair, but there were many times I would still have to carry her. My dad also shared in this, having to carry his wife to the bathroom everyday, and bathing her. My dad was the definition of "In sickness and in health". We rejoiced that despite all of this happening to us, that it was over, and we give our thankfulness fully to God that she is here with us.

My mom started to feel pain again in Feb of 2022, and after 2 more doctor appointments and biopsies they discovered not only has her cancer come back, it's growing at a faster rate and need to go into surgery as soon as possible. We used all our resources the first surgery, and tried going the same route as last, but this time they could only offer us a discount rate and will need that rate paid before surgery. Which is why I am creating this go fund me now.

I am not someone who is accustomed to asking for help, I have always seeked to help others. However, this is my mom and she is everything to me and so I am desperate.

She was the one who was there for me during all my rec league sport games, she was the one who showed up for me when I was in the hospital for a month and a half, the one who supported and encouraged me in gaming despite never being good enough to go pro, she is the one who when I was at my lowest points in my life, was there giving me unconditional love. She's gives me encouragement daily, teaches me about the world, and never asks for anything from anyone. She is a daughter, a grandmother to 3, a mother to 4, a wife, and a follower of God.

I want to raise this money to save my mom's life.

I don't want to lose her to cancer, I want to keep fighting this with her. So I am humbly begging for help. Please help me save her.
