Help Us Help Jennifer Pagane

My name is Denise Lewandowski and I am a long-time friend of Jennifer Pagane.  Jen was having vision problems at the end of August that lead her to get checked out by both her eye doctor and PCP.  She had a physical on September 4th that resulted in getting an MRI and CT that same day. That’s when the tumor was discovered behind her right eye and sinus cavity. She had a biopsy surgery September 10th and was diagnosed with Stage 2 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma by September 22nd. The day after her diagnosis, she had her first Lumbar Puncture (spinal) and her first round of chemo was the following week. At this time,  her treatment is scheduled for 6 rounds – each round consisting of one day getting a Lumbar Puncture and another day of getting chemo. The Lumbar Puncture is to test her spinal fluid to make sure the lymphoma doesn’t spread there and to inject a small amount of chemo directly into the fluid since that goes up and surrounds her brain (since the tumor is in her head).  Jennifer is married to Daryl Pagane and they have two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Kaylee.  The medical bills, as anyone can imagine, are massive.  I am setting up this fund so that we can help Jennifer and her family ease some of the financial burden that Jen's medical condition has brought upon them.  Jennifer and her family will use the money to help with medical bills above and beyond insurance, travel expenses for treatments, medications, etc.  This means so much for me to help this wonderful family, as they do not ask for help, but humbly work through these difficult days, looking forward to a brighter tomorrow.  As you can see by the photos I have posted, even through these difficult times, Jennifer is an inspiration to all with her radiant smile and good outlook.  I hope that Jennifer's positive attitude can help others who may be going through the same thing.  I am very thankful to all who can help!  Any donation, large or small is appreciated!
