Help Save AJ

Donation protected
Hey friends and the world,
I am reaching out with the hope that you may be willing to help and assist a family in great need. Jocelyn is an amazing young woman who came to Kuwait three years ago to support her husband and three young children back home in the Philippines. She has lived with us for nearly a year and has become part of our family. Jocelyn has treated Everett and Peyton as her own and helps us out in any way possible every day. Understandably, it has been incredibly hard for her to be away from her family. Due to Covid and other circumstances, Jocelyn has not been able to go home and be with her family for over two years. During this time, Jocelyn's oldest daughter has been battling an undiagnosed illness. AJ is sixteen years old and was excited about starting online school. Approximately two months ago, it was discovered that she had Tuberculosis. She was having difficulty breathing, and her Ultrasounds and X-rays showed a large collection of water in and around her lungs. A few days ago, Jocelyn received a call from AJ's doctor. He informed her that the TB had greatly affected AJ's lungs, kidneys and liver. AJ was then sent for further tests on her kidneys, after which the specialist called to tell Jocelyn to "Pray for a miracle, it's not good, not good at all." The doctor suggested that Jocelyn come home NOW!

Due to the current COVID situation in the Philippines, Jocelyn is now the only one able to earn an income for her family. Not only is her income necessary to support her husband and two other young children, it is needed for life-supporting medications for AJ. Jocelyn will be going back to the Philippines on November 8, 2020 to be with her daughter. She is unsure how she will continue paying for AJ's medical treatment and support her family, but she yearns and needs to back with her daughter. Further, with the current restrictions and upcoming airport lockdown in Kuwait, it is unclear if or when Jocelyn will return to her job with us and faces the likelihood of unemployment in the Philippines.

Most of you have never met Jocelyn, nor will you, but you know Leah and I. Please, if you can donate any small amount to help support Jocelyn it would mean the world to her and us. Although AJ's quality of life is currently poor, we are praying for that miracle and would appreciate your prayers as well.
Please, instead of that cup of coffee or little treat you might order, PLEASE, donate to help us help AJ, Jocelyn and her family.

Please help.
