Funds for Fred!

For those of you that don’t know me, I’m Fred’s little sister McKenna. For most of our lives we’ve had a special bond, even despite our huge age difference. We were always more like best friends than siblings. I’ve always been very protective of my big brother so when we found out he was diagnosed with cancer, it shook us all. Especially me because that’s my big brother & he’s supposed to be invincible. 

Fred does NOT know about the GoFundMe page but his wife Rose does, so please try not to slip up in front of him. I started this page for him because despite what he says, he will need help financially. The medical bills have already started piling up and once those bills start, they don’t stop. Fred had major surgery recently to remove the cancer tumors and is still in the hospital and we don’t know when he’s coming home. We don’t even know if he’ll need additional treatments. But we do know they won’t be cheap. There’s also a good possibility he’ll be getting laid off from work (not because of the cancer, but due to the nature of his job).  

My brother is a proud man and a stubborn man. He does not like asking for help and doesn’t like accepting help. I, however, will do whatever I can to help him and that includes this GoFundMe page. I can’t help my brother heal physically, that’s up to him, his doctors, and his nurses. But I can do this for him. I can reach out to friends and family and acquaintances who I’m sure have unfortunately seen a loved one go through cancer treatments & ask that they help. 

 He’s a good person and doesn’t deserve the cards life has dealt him. It’s proving to be a tough recovery and just a rough road in general for Fred & Rose. Any donations to help with medical bills and other expenses would definitely ease the burden on their shoulders and would be extremely appreciated! No donation is too small! All donations will go directly to a separate account Rose has set up for his medical bills. If you can’t donate, just please keep my brother and Rose and the rest of my family in your thoughts & prayers. We are not a family who asks for help often but as his little sister, please consider donating for my brother. Him & I still have a lot more shenanigans to get into ♥️
