Hi, my name is Aunt Kathleen and my family and friends have been praying for the last 3 years for my niece Michelle to receive a new kidney. Kidney failure runs in her family.
"The Costs",
The financial toll has been extremely difficult on Michelle Bowser and her mother Carol Vollmar, my sister. Michelle is a single mom with a four year old little boy and she can not work at this time and her mom, Carol, is also a single mom fully responsible for herself, Michelle and her son. With the help of family members she has managed her best to get by.
"How you can Help",
We are asking for financial help at this time. When Carol is not at work she does not get paid. So most days she can’t go to the hospital/Doctors when Michelle needs her the most. They share one car to get Michelle to dialysis at least 3 times a week, Carol to work and Michelle to her many Doctor appointments. Carol can’t even afford her own health insurance due to the extra bills she has with Michelle’s medications, Doctor visits, child care, gasoline to Tampa General from Winter Haven, and multiple other expenses.
The stress, alone, of having two children on dialysis is so much for one mother to handle. Yes, I said two children. Michelle’s brother, Thomas Bowser, also needs a kidney.
This financial burden is extremely stressful and scary on the days you think you can’t afford the necessities to live day to day. I’m asking you to not only pray for Michelle and Carol’s family, but to please consider donating even just $10.00 to help them during this time so they can focus all their effort to healing and surviving.
