Our dear friend, Leslie Monroe, received tragic news on Thursday. Her sweet, loving grandson, Alexander Monroe, was found unresponsive in a family pool while visiting his grandfather in Florida. Alexander never regained consciousness and the family made the decision to have him removed from life support. Alexander was only 3 1/2 years old. His organs will be donated in hopes of helping other families to avoid this same painful loss. Tragedies like this are not only devastating emotionally, but also financially. Please help us to raise money for this grief-stricken family in their greatest time of need. Alexander has a brother, Ryan, and two sisters, Marissa and Norah. His parents, Ryan and Elisa, are residents of Georgetown, TN. Ryan, the sole income provider for the family, is employed at Publix. Anyone who has ever had the privilege of meeting Leslie knows you will never meet a more kind-hearted, beautiful soul. Leslie's grandchildren are her absolute world. We are heartbroken for her and her family. Alexander will be remembered for many reasons, like his contagious smile and a love for planets. May his journey take him into the universe he loved so much.
