Help Tiffany's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Update: Tuesday, 4/22/25
From the Family: (Tiffany's update is in the posts below)
I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. Our beloved Tiffany has been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that has now spread to her bones. This is an incredibly difficult time for her and for everyone who loves her. She's fought through the challenges of cancer with strength and grace, but now she’s fighting for her life.

Just one year after her battle with breast cancer, we received the devastating news that it has metastasized to her bones. This type of cancer is incurable but treatable, and we’re doing everything we can to manage her pain, slow the progression, and give her the best quality of life possible.

Tiffany has always been a loving mother, a dedicated friend, someone who lifts others up, and shows up from anyone at any time.

She is 44 and healthy, so we are hoping for the best, but it is going to be a long hard fight. She is trying to be strong for her husband, two sons, 19 and 14 years old, and her daughter just turned 4 yesterday.

We started this page in October 2023 when she had her surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. The donations originally received were an amazing blessing and helped cover a portion of her medical bills.

We are bringing it back because cancer takes a toll—not just emotionally and physically, but financially. Medical bills, treatments, medications, transportation to appointments, and the everyday cost of living are overwhelming. There will come a time when Tiffany will no longer be able to work due to the severity of her condition, and our family is doing everything we can—but we can’t do it alone.

Your donation will help with:
  • Chemotherapy and other treatments
  • Prescription medications
  • Travel to specialists and hospitals
  • In-home care and medical equipment
  • Everyday expenses like groceries and utilities

How You Can Help
Any donation—no matter how small—will make a difference.
Sharing this campaign means the world to us.
Most of all, your prayers and support mean everything.

We are so grateful for your love during this time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with Tiffany in this fight.

With love,
Brittany Graff (sister) & Family

Update: Monday, 11/6/23
From Tiffany:
Sorry for no updates for a week.
Cancer is fighting back.

Just when I thought I was thru the hard part...(recovering from a double mastectomy), we received the pathology report from my surgery.

I have to have radiation and chemo.

Not the news we expected. So we had a very emotional day/week.

There multiple spots in the breast tissue that were cancer tumors that did not show up on any scans. Dr was glad we chose the mastectomy, because we would not have found the spots until much later. However, one of the spots was too close to chest cavity and armpit, so they do not have a clear margin. So that means radiation.

4 lymph nodes were removed. There were cancer cells in all the lymph nodes. So that means chemo.

I will be having a PET scan on Nov 11. To get some more details of where the cancer has spread thru the lyphm system.

We are currently waiting to see when and what treatment is and will start.

GOOD NEWS: I had my drains removed on Wednesday and was able to shower on Thursday. This was amazing. My sister did my hair and I put on some makeup this weekend.

Just doing things one day at a time. Making sure to still be with my kids during their activities and making memories.

Thank you for your prayers, meals, gifts, and help. Please don't hesitate to call and visit. I have heard lots of people say they want to give me space. I want to hear from you!

From the family:
Thank you to everyone that has been so supportive to Tiffany! We are keeping the GoFundMe and Meal Train open.

Original Post:
Life will never be the same.

August 17, 2023

I was sitting in traffic when I saw “Tiffany Oberg is calling”. I had been waiting for this call. I took a deep breath and answered, “Hey there.” “Hey,” she replied, “I have breast cancer.”

Four words and my world was crushed. Her world was crushed. How could this be?!

My sister, my best friend, one of the most amazing people I have ever known, how can she have breast cancer?!

Because breast cancer doesn't care!

Breast cancer doesn’t care that it is changing her life and everyone she knows.

Breast cancer doesn’t care that she is too young to be "high-risk" for cancer.

Breast cancer doesn’t care that she is an incredible super mom to three kids, 17, 13 and 2 years old and a devoted wife.

Breast cancer doesn’t care that she shows up for every sports practice and game for both her boys, helps them with 4H and FFA, spends her days chasing around a high energy little girl all while working two jobs and serving at her church.

Breast cancer doesn’t care that she is one of the most kind-hearted women that would do anything for anyone.

Breast cancer doesn’t care.

But we care. Tiffany has the most loving and supportive group of family, friends, and church that anyone could ask for. She has had such an outpouring of support already.

Tiffany will have a life changing surgery. She will have a double mastectomy on Wednesday, October 18th.

For a minimum of 4 weeks Tiffany won’t be able to work, to make meals, to drive her kids to school, lift or cuddle her baby girl, go to sports practices or games, do laundry, clean her house, go grocery shopping, wash her hair, the list goes on and on.

Many people have asked how they can help. She is going to need her village to come alongside her. These are some things that we came up with on how you can help.

How you can help:

1. Prayer! - Please cover her in prayer before, during and after her surgery and during her recovery

2. Meal Train – If you live nearby you can bring her a cooked or frozen meal or Door Dash

3. Words of Encouragement – Send her words to show your support, in cards, text, posts

4. Donate Items – She has created an Amazon wish list of items she will need during recovery

5. Financial Donations/Gift Cards - With the mounting medical bills, the loss of work for a minimum of 4 weeks, and everyday expenses, the weight of this burden is overwhelming. Not having to worry about the burden and stressing over finances would be a huge help in her recovery

We are launching this GoFundMe to rally around Tiffany and her family during this time of crisis. Our goal is to alleviate the financial stress that is compounding her battle against cancer. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant impact on her family's life. The majority of contributions will go directly to paying the high cost of medical bills, it will also go to cover any additional needs to make ends meet.

Please consider donating, sharing this campaign with your friends and family, and keeping Tiffany and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness will bring light and hope during their darkest hours.

Thank you for how you love and support Tiffany. Let's stand together and show them that they are not alone in this fight. We are grateful that she has you in her life!

With heartfelt gratitude,
Brittany Graff and Tiffany’s Family
