#SavingGracie

I’m not quite sure where to begin, as I’ve never asked for help for myself or my animals in any way.  If you know me well enough, you know I’m always helping others,  especially the animals in our community. I’ve dedicated my life as an ER/ Trauma Nurse to take care of others and I gave it my all until I got sick. Well, I’m swallowing my pride and humbly asking my friends and family to help me save my sweet little Gracie’s life. Between her adoption and the first week of her medical bills, my husband has already spent a near $5000 and with what is being presented to us from the vet specialists  at the critical care hospital where Gracie was transferred to yesterday pending surgery, we already have another bill adding up quickly at $4900 and it does not look like it is going to end there. I wouldn’t be being honest if I told you all that it isn’t taking a toll on us, because honestly, it is. It is taking a huge toll on us as I have stopped working again to get my aggressive skin cancer under control and start my treatments and prepare for a major surgery this month. This is not about me though, this is strictly for Gracie. This is for a 10 week old innocent puppy that was sent home to us with a terrible infection. She has so much love in her little eyes and a huge story to tell if we can save her life. So here I am, giving up all my pride, and asking for any little bit of monetary help towards Gracie’s medical bills. If you are unable to help, please share. But most importantly, please keep sending prayers up for this little girl of mine. She deserves nothing but the very best life and I intend to give her just that! Thank you all so so so much!
