Zach's Eagle Scout Project

Hello all,

My name is Zach Leighton. With a passion for music and my involvement in the Reedy High school band, my Eagle Scout Project is building 3 percussion storage units for the band.

As our band continues to expand, the current storage spaces that were originally used by the percussion will be converted to fit wind instruments. This would leave the percussion without any space to put their equipment. My Eagle Project is focused on creating 3 storage units that will be able to store most of the equipment used by the percussion members. Each unit will be 4.5 ft tall and 7 ft wide. There will be two units that will hold cymbals and the drum stands with the units also having 2 shelves for the percussion to be able to put their other equipment into. Finally, the third unit will be equipped with shelves that will be able to hold a variety of the equipment that doesn’t fit into the other two units.

My goal is to raise a total of $1,500 to construct the three stand alone units. The funds will cover the cost of materials needed in order to construct all three of the units.
