Chuck, a 67 year old husband, father and grandfather was beaten and hospitalized, in the Portage Park neighborhood of Chicago, while walking to work the morning of 5-8-2024. He sustained head trauma and will need surgery to rebuild his eye socket that was broken after being hit multiple times with a pipe. Even after the surgery he runs the risk of having double vision for the rest of his life.

Chuck has a love for helping others as he has continued to do so both on his personal life and throughout his career with Berman Subaru of chicago and the Berman Auto Group. He is an advocate of and cares deeply for his community and his neighborhood. Although this event was very tragic, I know Chuck will continue to support his community as he has in the past. He always sees the best in people!
