Our dear friend Meg Hall Williams’ husband was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on his way to one of the kids graduation from UNCW! He was a dedicated law enforcement officer for over 25 years and spent his entire life serving others . He and Meg together raised 5 children, 2 still in college. This unexpected loss of Michael has been devastating to the family. The emotional devastation is compounded by the financial hardship experienced in the aftermath. While we can’t take away the pain from Michael ‘s death, we can support Meg and their family as they bravely move forward in their changed lives. This GOFUNDME is set up to help cover the funeral expenses, medical expenses associated with the accident, and assist Meg in this time of financial transition; specifically, to enable Meg to keep her family home. Michael selflessly served others and his community as a law enforcement officer, EMT, firemen, and a loyal security volunteer at Elevation Church.
