Help save our home!!!
Donation protected
Through no fault of our own, we find ourselves in need of help to save our home from foreclosure. In April, 2015, my husband of 20 years and I separated. I left with my daughter , Hannah and my husband stopped paying the mortgage at that time. He was suffering severely from bipolar depression, as well as a shoulder injury he sustained in February. Although he was able financially to keep up with the mortgage, he chose not to.
In late July I came home to try to reconcile our differences, and to save our home from being foreclosed. The reconciliation did not work, thus Hannah and I are here , in Vernonia, and our sweet little home is being threatened by foreclosure.
We moved out of the city to Vernonia in April 2005, and absolutely fell in love with small town life. We have so many memories here as we raised miniature dairy goats, chickens for tasty eggs to share, and we also learned the craft of raising our own meat rabbits, lovingly using every portion of the rabbits to sustain our lives, including the beautiful furs we are still using today! There is an amazing feeling we get from making cheese and yogurt , eating our fresh eggs, and yes eating our lovingly raised meat! We also have a sweet little garden, so when we work it just right , we can sustain ourselves on our little 105x105 piece of land.
It is beyond heartbreaking to think of losing our little home ,but the bank has their priorities one of which is getting their monies. There is a sale date of January 28, though we hope to postpone it if at all possible. One way we can show the bank we are serious is to repay the back payments ($933. X 9 months) we only want to stay in our home, by having the payments lowered some, and paying the back payments it is possible. Which is where the amount of $8397 comes from. We work hard to keep things going, even getting extra jobs like pet setting, but raising $8397 is a daunting task presently. We only ask for the exact amount we need for the bank and promise to only use it for the back payments or a bargaining tool for the bank.
We appreciate so very much any donation possible. My daughters were both raised in this little house, and now my little grandson is able to come here and learn about life at granny's!! Staying in our home would mean so very much to me, and my little family!
